After being greeted with a smiling face, the front desk staff will check you in and make sure all of the needed information is gathered and up to date. They will also be able to assist you with any questions you may have.
Following check in, one of our friendly hygienists will greet you in the lobby and escort you to an exam room. The hygienist will go over the steps of the exam with you and what you can expect, as well as answer any questions you have.
Generally, a full series of x-rays are taken to be able to accurately and effectively diagnose and treat the patient. Then, the hygienist will examine your gums and check for any abnormal findings. Following the x-rays and exam, the hygienist will clean your teeth and polish them to remove plaque and bacteria and make it difficult for new bacteria to buildup.
The dentist will review your x-rays and come in to speak with you. The dentist will do a brief overview with you and perform a complete oral examination to better assess your dental and overall health.
